CARDS Holdings, LLC (“CARDS”) a regional waste and recycling hauler announces its 3rd Missouri acquisition in 30 days. Oregon County Public Waste (OCPW), a prominent player, has been serving communities in Oregon and Shannon County Missouri for the past decade. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
OCPW has proudly supported Southern Missouri through its residential subscription, municipal curbside, and commercial service offerings. They have become a community partner with long-standing relationships with many customers, all of whom will continue to be prioritized under the CARDS brand. Equally important, CARDS procurement of OCPW marks a significant milestone for customers, adding additional value through CARDS roll off offerings and ability to meet market growth demands.
By making this strategic decision, CARDS will be able to:
- Expand their services across local regions, including Oregon county and North Central Arkansas.
- Densify CARDS offerings in areas they already serve through route synergies.
- Enhance industrial, manufacturing, and temporary service offerings through permanent roll off service abilities.
This gain helps solidify the reach and services of CARDS in southern Missouri marked by their industry-known orange containers and commitment to customer-first quality. Dan Christensen, CEO of CARDS, echoed these sentiments stating, “With this strategic local acquisition, CARDS aims to enhance our subscription residential and commercial services by providing the inventory necessary to grow. In addition, our ability to compete in municipal curbside contracts, permanent and temporary roll off opportunities and serve an even larger list of local clientele is very beneficial to our organization. By building upon the strengths of both entities, CARDS looks forward to delivering unparalleled services and solutions to all its current and future clients,” says Christensen.
This acquisition marks CARDS 3rd in 2024. Headquartered in Fayetteville, Arkansas, CARDS is the leading independent regional provider of solid waste collection services in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. CARDS provides municipal, residential subscription, commercial, portable restroom, and industrial waste collection services to approximately 220,000 customers. In addition, CARDS offers post-collection services throughout its waste footprint.
CARDS, originally known as Central Arkansas Recycling and Disposal Services, launched in 2017 to provide waste collection and post collection services in Little Rock, Arkansas. The company has since expanded operations into Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas and currently provides services to more than forty-five municipalities. This is accompanied by an extensive transfer station network and C&D landfill.
