Up to $20 million in grant funding to swap out old diesel fleets with newer, cleaner models is available, the U.S. EPA announced.
The project is aimed at reducing pollution from the nation’s existing fleet of diesel engines and improving overall air quality. In addition to that grant, another $9 million will be available through direct state allocations.
