- UPS recently committed further to having a lower carbon footprint, by agreeing to buy renewable gas from Clean Energy Fuels Corp., to use in the package delivery company’s trucks.
- The company is aiming to drive one billion miles by 2017 using alternative fuel in its advanced technology fleet of vehicles.
- Using its fueling stations in Los Angeles, Fresno and Sacramento, UPS will fuel up with Redeem RNG, provided exclusively by Clean Energy Fuels Corp. The UPS stations will fuel close to 400 vehicles in the state.
