• Recycling Reinvented, a non-profit recycling advocate, announced it is expanding its mission.
• The Shoreview, MN-based group plans to utilize its skills as it works alongside companies through the advocacy process in order to facilitate the passage of recycling policies in the legislature. 
• The organization plans to push for policies that increase the quality of collections, increase recycling rates and expand the volume of recyclables processed.

The group plans to pursue and support policy changes such as pay-as-you-throw (PAYT), disposal bans for recyclables, recycling service provision requirements and increased funding for local government’s to further educational outreach and enforcement.  

In the past, Recycling Reinvented was instrumental in increasing recycling rates in the country through extended producer responsibility (EPR) on packaging and printed paper.
