- A private equity firm based out of New York, Aperion Management LLC, has acquired Tri Con Works LLC, a landfill-gas construction and drilling company based in Houston, Texas.
- Tri Con provides services such as installation and maintenance of gas-recovery systems, landfill drilling and installation, leachate systems and maintenance of landfill gas flares.
- This will mark Aperion's second investment in the environmental services industry. It also invested in Stella Environmental Services in 2012.
Dive Insight:
In the past five years, Tri Con has installed 2,500 landfill gas wells and more than 100 leachate collection and storage systems.
