Waste Services of Florida Inc. has told St. Petersburg, Fla., city officials that it will not renew its curbside recycling contract.
The city’s first-ever curbside recycling program is set to expire in October, the Tampa Bay Times reported. WSI signed up about 8,000 customers, but that was well short of its goal of 24,000.
