• The companies establishing the plastic recovery plant are QRS Recycling, based in Kentucky, and Canusa Hershman Recycling Co., headquartered in Baltimore and Connecticut.
• The facility will use bales of mixed plastics, including soft drink bottles and yogurt containers, from other recycling plants and separate the resins so the materials can be sold.
