The Borough of Waynesboro in Pennsylvania might build a recycling facility in a former lumber yard building.
The center, which would be developed and run by Kiamon Group Inc., would handle nonferrous materials like aluminum, brass, nickel and copper, according to the Herald-Mail newspaper in Hagerstown, Md.
All recyclables would be brought into the facility overnight instead of being left outside. Around 15 people would be hired if the facility is built, the paper reported.
