Dive Insight:
The waste industry is coming face-to-face with an increasing number of legislative initiatives making the waste and recycling agenda more important to the industry. Kraushaar's experience should align well with the association's efforts on the federal, state and local levels.
"NWRA is a dynamic, member-driven organization that is unique in that we touch virtually every home and business in America,” commented Kevin Kraushaar. "We will be expanding our advocacy efforts both on Capitol Hill and with a number of federal agencies, and we will continue to build on the legislative and policy successes led by our chapters at state and local governments across the country."
