The prospects of a single-stream recycling plant in Concord, N.H., just got dimmer.
The City Council voted Tuesday to pull out of a plan to build the facility, according to the Concord Monitor.
The plan was in the works since 2007, with around $3 million already spent. The council agreed in September to move forward with the project.
Last month, however, the city's Solid Waste Advisory Committee recommended that the city scrap the plan after financing concerns for the $15.6 million project arose.
