• This move ensures that the statewide plastic bag ban will be suspended until voters determine its outcome on the November 2016 ballot.

Almost two dozen groups have joined the APBA in its goal to repeal the law. The bill prohibiting the use of plastic bags in retail shops passed in 2014. Since then, the group has continuously fought the legislation and worked to have it overturned.
