A new report says the Durham, Ontario waste-to-energy facility is on budget and on schedule -- but it's still costing more than originally projected.
Project costs have jumped from the $272.4 million figure outlined in 2009 to a new total of $283.9 million. The $11.5 million increase includes inflation, added host community agreement costs, HST and utility connections.
