Dive Insight:
While many landfill sites struggle to obtain permits that allow the site to expand or continue operations, the White Pines Landfill has been repeatedly successful.
"As a solid waste facility permittee, Mascaro is very mindful and respectful of its obligation to the environment. In fact, our company’s highest priority goal is 100% environmental compliance, not only at the White Pines Landfill, but also at our other DEP-permitted transfer stations, landfills and compost facilities." said Company Director of Environmental Compliance Matthew Mascaro.
