Whether you stink at composting, or your compost simply stinks, free coaching sessions are in store for B.C. residents who need a hand for the deceptively complex backyard task.
In areas where bears or other wildlife may pass through residential areas, however, compost skills are no joking matter. An efficient bin system becomes essential.
“Compost Coaches will share tips about minimizing common composting problems, improving finished compost and taking less garbage to the curb,” Kathleen O’Malley, assistant manager of the North Shore Recycling Program said in an announcement about the program.
