Dive Brief:

• Two Connecticut-based corporations, Xerox and Keep America Beautiful, have partnered with the Sustainable Electronics Recycling International coalition, a Colorado recycling organization, to establish a program encouraging companies to reuse or recycle e-waste. 
• The companies join SERI in its support of R2 standards, a set of universal guidelines practiced by recyclers across the globe. 
• The program will ensure electronics recycling is done properly at an international level. A total of 10 companies have now joined the collaborative effort to maintain e-waste recycling standards.
