Dive Brief:

• Clean Harbors Inc. announced that it has started work on its incinerator. The facility will be located in El Dorado, AR.
• The waste management firm said the facility will almost double its waste destruction capacity. 
• The incinerator comes with a hefty price tag of more than $100 million.

The facility’s focus will be in the obliteration of hazardous materials and industrial waste coming from different industries, businesses, and governmental agencies. 

“Clean Harbors new world-class incineration unit will add much-needed waste destruction capacity to our North American waste management network,” said Phil Retallick, senior vice president of regulatory affairs at Clean Harbors, in a statement.
