• CarbonLite Industries announced it will be building a plant that will handle post-consumer PET in Texas.
• The discarded bottles will be transformed into new bottles for Nestle Waters when production begins in 2014.
• ​The facility will process up to 1.6 billion bottles annually, which is the equivalent of 80 million pounds.
