- Fairfax, Va.-based route optimization software provider C2Logix, Inc.will partner with Phoenix, Ariz.-based WIH Resource Group — a global solutions provider in waste management and recycling systems — to create a single platform for waste management firms.
- C2Logix created FleetRoute, a routing optimization system used in solid waste and recycling industries. It was developed by geographic information system experts and veterans in the waste industry to process data including fleet, depots, landfills, transfer stations, and customer locations to figure out the most efficient route.
- WIH uses a process, Operational Performance Assessment, that can analyze client operations, resulting in customized recommendations used to help customers improve both business and operation performance.

According to Commercial Carrier Journal, WIH Principal and Vice President of Client Solutions Bob Wallace said, "The waste industry is constantly seeking ways to improve profits, increase customer retention and operate more efficiently. The partnership with C2Logix is a huge step in delivering on those goals."
