According to the EPA, Americans use 69 million tons of paper and paperboard annually, with 37% of the fiber recovered and used to manufacture new paper products. In June, Green Box, a reclamation technology firm, announced its plans to operate two paper recycling facilities in Michigan. One will prepare food service paper scrap for processing while the other will convert pellets and bales into tissue, napkins and paper towels.
