- Legislators have approved a $250,000 budget to create an environmental study; the study would take a year to complete, making May 2015 the earliest possible timeframe for the plan to start.

Cortland County Legislature Chair Mike Park indicated this type of partnership may be something we will see more of over the next few years. "I like the idea of partnering with other municipalities and I think that's going to be the wave of the future," he said.
