The company said as many as 10,000 trees per day will be saved since Pratt uses 100% recycled paper and packaging products. The owner of the company, Anthony Pratt, also said the equipment used on site, such as fork lifts and grab trucks, will run on compressed natural gas.
Pratt is in the middle of constructing a $260 million recycled paper facility in Valparaiso, IN. The company anticipates the 250,000-square-foot plant will begin operations in July 2015.
