evercycle is created using 90% post-consumer content and 10% customer manufacturing scrap. The Atlanta, GA-based company said that while this is the first container released, other configurations are in development.
Phil Martens, the president and CEO of Novelis said, "The launch of evercycle marks an important next step in our long-term commitment to sustainable aluminum product innovation."
In May of 2014, Novelis announced the "evercan," a beverage can made from more recyclables than any other can available. The company invested half a billion dollars in two years in an effort to double its use of recyclables.
